We want you to be able to show off your new bag as soon as possible. We typically process orders within one to two business days and ship with standard carriers.  Shipping to the Continental United States is typically free.


Our goal is zero returns. However, if you don't fall in love at first sight, that's okay! Just send your bag back for a refund or exchange. 

We use a service that makes it super easy and we even provide you with a printable return shipping label to make it hassle-free.

Returns and exchanges usually take about a week to process and you'll receive email updates so you're in the loop on the status.

How do I make a return?

Head here and enter your email and order number to return or exchange your bag. Use the original packaging to ensure that bags are not damaged during return transit. 

Every return is a learning opportunity. We would love to chat about what would have made the bag perfect, how we could have described it better on the website, or help you find another style that would work better. Call directly at 415-484-3541 to chat.

What exactly can I return?

  • Unused bags in new condition with tags and original packaging that were purchased within the last 30 days and mailed to a US address. 
  • Returns must be mailed within 7 days of return request.
  • If at all possible, mail your bag back in the original, or slightly larger box. Bags crammed into small boxes will not be refunded - it ruins them. Bags mailed in very large boxes will be charged for the increase in postage.
  • Shipping costs +$5 will be deducted for preorders and items discounted 25% or more.

What exactly can’t I return?

  • Bags that don't meet the above criteria
  • Any item you didn’t purchase from our website
  • "Final Sale" items
  • Accessories, including water bottles
  • Gift cards, gift wrap and greeting cards

How do I return or exchange a gift?

Enter the order number and the email of the person who gave you the gift here. If you don't have the order number, please email us at You’ll need to provide their name and the email address used for the order.

Returns can be refunded to the original form of payment, exchanged for another item or given as store credit.

What if I don’t have a receipt or I got my items from one of your retail partners?

If you don’t have proof of purchase, email us at and we’ll try our hardest to find the info you need and figure out the best way for you to return it. If you got your items from somewhere besides our website, you’ll need to return it there within the guidelines of their return policy.

Do you have a guarantee?

Yes. Our products are high quality and we are super reasonable people. If your item doesn’t hold up or has a defect, you can return it.
