Madison hit a floater toward the net, and her partner was standing at the net, anticipating the opponent’s return. As Madison’s partner prepared to “block” the ball back, the opponent hit the ball out. Then, the opponent claimed Madison’s partner was standing so close to the net to attempt to block the ball that she couldn’t properly swing at the ball. She claimed a hindrance, but Madison’s partner insisted that she didn’t do anything illegal.
