Both casual and competitive players carry the NYC backpack. It’s a large tennis backpack designed by players who understand the need for plenty of pockets for all your play or practice essentials.
Can this tennis bag double as a regular gym or travel bag?
Absolutely. The NYC is a well-built bag, and the pockets can be used for all types of travel. Additionally, the backpack includes a laptop sleeve so it can be carried for work.
Do I need a thermal pocket for my racquets?
No. Research has shown that thermal pockets aren't actually helpful. There is no downside, but there really isn't a good reason for them.
What are the advantages of a tennis backpack bag over traditional racquet bags?

Product arrived in wrong color but I decided to keep it since I didn’t want the hassle of returning. Love it so far. High quality. Lots of pockets and very functional. Best bag of its kind in my opinion.
This back pack is nicely designed with space for everything I carry on my walk to the tennis courts. It is well made and sturdy but not heavy at all. The back pack straps are a bit slippery. They sometimes slip off my shoulder(s) as I’m walking. They would benefit from addition of some fabric to create a little friction against tennis shirts/jackets.
