How Doubletake bags are built

Built for the court. Designed for everything after.

Every Doubletake bag is built around four things: ultra-organized interiors where everything stays visible and reachable, FadeLock™ fade-resistant fabric, TrueStand internal structure so the bag stands upright on its own, and YKK zippers with aluminum hardware. Designed for tennis and pickleball players who refuse to choose between looking good and playing well.

Ultra-organized

everything stays visible and reachable

Most court bags are one deep compartment. You put things in, and then you dig for them. Doubletake's signature wide-opening zipper runs the full length of the bag and opens it wide, so you see everything at once. Inside, the pockets are placed around what players actually carry: a padded phone pocket with a magnetic closure, a protective sunglasses pocket, oversized water-bottle pockets, dedicated ball storage, a sealed wet/dry compartment for damp gear, and a separate shoe compartment on select styles. Nothing disappears to the bottom.

Real Customer Feedback

This is the claim our customers make for us. Across hundreds of five-star reviews, the themes that come up most often are organization, the pockets, and being able to see and reach everything.

FadeLock™

color locked into the fiber

Court bags live in the sun. They sit on benches through three-hour sessions, ride in hot trunks, and spend summers outdoors. Most bags are surface-dyed, which means the color sits on top of the material — and sunlight takes it off. FadeLock™ is our name for how we handle that. The pigment goes into the material before the fiber is formed, so the color runs all the way through rather than sitting on the surface. It's engineered to resist extended UV exposure, which is why a Doubletake bag still looks like itself after seasons on court.

Test Data Coming Soon

Factory test data for colorfastness/UV resistance is pending.

TrueStand™

the bag stands up on its own

Set a soft bag down courtside and it slumps. It falls over. Everything shifts to the bottom and you're back to digging — or picking your things up off wet concrete. TrueStand is the internal structure and reinforced base that hold the bag's shape whether it's full or empty. It stays upright on court, in the trunk, and by the front door. It solves a recognized frustration with soft, unstructured court bags, and it's part of why the bag looks composed sitting on a bench rather than collapsed.

“There's no question that Doubletake put tons of thought into making this bag as functional as possible without sacrificing style.”

Components

The parts that fail first, chosen carefully

Bags don't usually wear out. They break at one point — a zipper, a strap anchor, a clip — and then they're finished. So we name the parts rather than describing them. YKK zippers throughout. Aluminum hardware. Courtside carabiners for clipping what you need within reach. On the fabric: it's water-resistant and sheds court spray and light rain. It isn't waterproof, and we don't describe it that way.

Built for the court. Designed for everything after.

A court bag that only works on court isn't much of a bag. Most players go straight from a session to the office, the school run, or the airport. So the same bag carries a laptop, works as a carry-on, and slides over a suitcase handle on the luggage strap. It reads as a bag you'd carry anywhere, not as sports equipment you're stuck holding.
