Doubletake is a designer tennis and pickleball bag specialist, founded in 2016 by tennis players Dale Breen and Shawna Gwin Krasts. The woman-founded brand makes ultra-organized bags for players who refuse to choose between looking good and playing well β built for the court, and designed for everything after.

The tennis bag that changed everything
Doubletake started in 2016, when Dale Breen began making the tennis bag she couldn't buy. Shawna Gwin Krasts joined the following year, after running into exactly the same problem on her own club court. Together they turned it into a company.
"My journey into tennis began later in life. After joining a local club with my husband, I quickly fell in love with the sport β the fresh air, the friendships, the challenge of improving. But there was one problem. The bags. For my very first lesson, I bought what I thought was the perfect tennis tote. It looked great online. But the moment I set it down courtside, it tipped over and everything spilled onto the court. My water bottle, my keys, my phone. Everything. I remember thinking, there has to be a better way. Like many women, I wanted a bag that was both beautiful and functional. Something thoughtfully organized, designed for the way we actually live and play. I couldn't find it. The more I played, the more I saw the opportunity β products that combined thoughtful organization, timeless style and everyday functionality. Products that worked just as well off the court as on it."

How we design
Every pocket serves a purpose
From the beginning the goal has been simple: make products that make life easier without sacrificing style. Every pocket serves a purpose. Every detail is intentional. Every design starts with the same question β will this make someone's day a little easier? It gets answered on paper first, in measurements and sketches, long before anything is made.

What we make now
Beyond the tennis bag
Doubletake has grown from one tennis bag into a full collection for players on the move β on the court, at work, travelling, or somewhere in between. Tennis bags and pickleball bags in backpack, tote, and duffel styles, plus shoe bags and accessories. The collection keeps growing. The mission hasn't changed: thoughtfully designed products that help you stay organized, feel confident, and enjoy every adventure life brings.

Components
The parts that fail first, chosen carefully
Bags don't usually wear out. They break at one point β a zipper, a strap anchor, a clip β and then they're finished. So we name the parts rather than describing them. YKK zippers throughout. Aluminum hardware. Courtside carabiners for clipping what you need within reach. On the fabric: it's water-resistant and sheds court spray and light rain. It isn't waterproof, and we don't describe it that way.

Built for the court. Designed for everything after.
A court bag that only works on court isn't much of a bag. Most players go straight from a session to the office, the school run, or the airport. So the same bag carries a laptop, works as a carry-on, and slides over a suitcase handle on the luggage strap. It reads as a bag you'd carry anywhere, not as sports equipment you're stuck holding.
